HAPPENING NOW AT POWAY NURSERY

The Bare root season is over. Our roses and fruit trees are leafed out now. The roses are beginning to bloom and have lots of buds. We kept the price at $19.99 for a large established five gallon rose bush. Our fruit trees starting at $ 19.99 are looking good with new growth. We also have a selection of Citrus and Hass Avocado.

FRUIT TREES: We have a selection from apples to persimmons. Most are semi dwarf varieties and some are grown as E-Z pick which are kept to a lower height by pruning. Smaller trees for smaller gardens.

SPRING/SUMMER VEGETABLES: We are now receiving orders weekly of popular vegetables including tomatoes, peppers, squash, corn, egg plant and cucumbers to name a few. We also have strawberries and herbs. We have a seed rack for those wanting to start vegetables/flowers from seed.

HANGING BASKETS/COLOR BOWLS: At this time of year we sell a lot of hanging baskets, coming to us with lots of color, ready to add instant color to your patio or landscape. Our employee Franco makes some of the nicest color bowls around. He has a great eye for arranging flowers. If you'd like he can custom design one for you, at no extra charge.

SOIL AMENDMENTS: We offer "Harvest Supreme" as an all organic soil conditioner for flower and vegetable beds. It provides great results. Some customers buy several bags at a time to condition their soil. Customers have had great success using Harvest Supreme.
